Gr. Beard

This weekend was an eventful, special, memorable one. We were able to celebrate the life of a wonderful man, my Grandpa, Robert H. Beard. It was fun to hear some stories and tidbits from his life, and remember several things. Since he has been going downhill for the past year and a half, I had forgotten some of his famous quotes; "Well, aren't you a wonderful girl (boy)", "It's a wonderful world we live in", "Is everybody happy?", "Bless your heart", "Run like a banche!", and so many more! I'm so grateful to "be born of goodly parents" (and grandparents). Some tears were shed, I was a bit nervous (had to play a few songs). But overall, it was wonderful.

My family (minus Elder Beard)

Spending some quality time with Grandpa before he died and some tender memories
We were lucky to have a little window when Grandpa was coherent and talking, and even recognized us. Here is a sweet picture of my Grandparents kissing!

*Thanks to Barb, Rick & Sue, Gr. Bagley, Jones, both Egans, William H., Hadfields, Latimers, Andersons, and so many others for coming and your support!
*Loved seeing my cute cousins! Mandy told me Ellie was super excited to see me, because it was before New Years (we usually go down there for New Years) even though she had a nightmare recently (because Becky was tickling me)! Love all those sweet kids! I sure miss them! Fun to see Alex too. He has autism, and is stinkin' adorable! He is so full of love and happiness. It is amazing to see the progress he has made in the past year or so.
