Birthday Celebrations!

I had an awesome birthday this year...but I have been having a hard time turning 24...I know, it's not that old, but I feel like it is! Thanks every one for the birthday wishes, gifts, and thoughts! On saturday night, me and Melmer went and saw "The Proposal", an awesome flick! When I got home, my cute room mate Mary pops into my room with a card, balloons, and brownies! She had an awesome Friends card (for those of you who don't know, I love Friends!). Sunday I got up and went to church; Rachel had come home and decorated my door, hall, bathroom, and out in front of our apartment, it was all really cute! That night I went to a Beard family dinner up at Snowbird and played with all my cousins that I haven't seen in a long time and my family. Then, me and Ben headed up to Kaysville, on the way to pick up his car, we found out it had gotten towed...big bummer. That night, we hung out with the family.

Monday morning we got up and went boating with me, Mom, Katie, Ben, and Drew. Dad was busy working and we missed him! We had some awesome water and we all got to ski and wake board! It was super fun and I turned into a lobster. We came home and showered, and Mom made me an amazing dinner and dessert, we opened presents and then I headed back to Provo. My friend Jac is coming down to go to breakfast and stay at my place, me and Andria are going to lunch this week....I have to say I have some pretty awesome friends and family. Thanks every one so much!

June Jackson Hole Trip

So I got back from Lake Powell just in time to work on saturday night, worked the next 3 nights, and then left for a road trip to Jackson Hole for the annual ER trip. Crystal and Levi were so great to plan and coordinate everything (thanks guys!).

We had a lot of fun on driving up there...except when Rach and Justin fell asleep. We got there wednesday just in time to set up camp in the dark. Thursday we drove up to Grand Teton National Park and hiked around Jenny Lake and up to Hidden Falls. It was a good hike, and I ran into the Scouts from the Kaysville 3rd ward, always fun! We came back and ate lunch around the car and then drove into Jackson and shopped around and took naps in the park. We ate dinner at Bubba's that night and then went back for stories around the campfire. It rained like cats and dogs all night, so friday we hung out until it finally stopped raining. Then in the afternoon we did what we all came for...floated the Snake river! It was awesome...we hit some awesome rapids and no one fell out! That night, me, Rach, and Justin drove into Alpine to dry my sleeping bag, clothes, and pad that got soaked from the rain. We went to a KOA campground that had laundry + showers, so me and Rach had a nice warm shower! That night we ate tin foil dinners, made s'mores, and ate ice cream around the camp fire! Saturday we packed up and came home. It was a super fun trip with a great group! It was super fun and I was so glad I went!

June Lake Powell Trip

So, I'm obviously awful at staying caught up on my blog...In June, my brother Ben called to tell me about his Lake Powell trip, and 10 minutes later I was going too! I got a fun surprise, my little brother Drew came too...it was a family affair! We left on a wednesday night and came back saturday night, just in time for me to run to work. We went with me and the bro's, Ben's roommate Joe and his brother and a friend. We had a blast skiing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding, and tubing! Lots of fun memories and inside jokes! We camped on a random beach and went into Page a few times for supplies
