Late Lake Powell!

I forgot to mention that at the beginning of May I went down with my family to Lake Powell to clean the houseboat. We left Provo at 10:30 P.M. on thursday night, got to the lake at 3:30 A.M. We only got to sleep for 3 hours before Mike, Lori, Natalie, and Dave showed up...and we got to work! We worked all day cleaning and waxing the outside and top of the boat, and spring cleaned the inside. That night we went to dinner at a Chinese place in Page and ran some errands. Saturday we got up and finished up a few things, then went and spent a few hours on the lake. It was so fun and so cold...the water was 59 *F, but thank goodness it was in the 80's in the air! I got fried...and peeled a ton! Oh well! After playing on the boat for a few short hours, we climbed back into the car and drove home!

Summer is finally here!

Well, summer is truely here! Finally! I couldn't wait anymore! On Saturday me and Ben drove up to Kaysville after only 3 hours of sleep, and spent the day at the lake! It was awesome! The water was a bit chilly (not as cold as last week, 55 *F) but sunny and hot.
